  • At this meeting, the East Coventry Board of Supervisors received the Steering Committee recommendations under advisement.  As of October 10, 2023 according to an email from the Township Manager “Currently, there is no established time for the Board’s action on the recommendations.”

  • East Coventry Advocacy believes the East Coventry Board of Supervisors should ACCEPT the Steering Committee’s recommendations and should implement them immediately.  The next ECT BOS meeting is November 13, 2023 at 7 pm.

To provide the Board of Supervisors with advice, guidance, and recommendations on good stewardship and the protection of potential public and private drinking water sources located within the Township; including, but not limited to, the potential for local regulation of the storage and limitations on land application of food processing residual.

Our legal team is asking DEP to explain who made the decision that Nolt’s does NOT need a permit to apply Food Processing Residual (FRP) waste to land within East Coventry Township.

Wellhead Protection Act: Joe, from the Solicitor’s law firm, is consulting with Steve from the East Coventry Advocacy’s law firm to create the Wellhead Protection Act. No estimated date for when the ordinance will be presented to the East Coventry Board of Supervisors. 

Professional Engineering Study 

The engineering study for 851 Bethel Church Road has been completed. The study was paid for by East Coventry Township.

No engineering study has been done for 970 Elbehare Road, Pigeon Creek watershed.
